Naperville North undefeated nearing the post-season – Huskies taking on the Wildcats from Neuqua Valley. The dual is the last conference match before the DVC meet.
It’s a shot gun start, so we’re on the fourth hole at Naperbrook – Neuqua’s Isabelle Wu leaves herself nothing but a gimme for par.
North’s Emma Kirvan getting her day off on the right foot, how about that put for par. She sinks two birdies en route to a stunning one-over 37!
Still buzzing around that 4th green, Lanette Choi hits the par put from 5 or 6 feet away, winds up with a 44 on the day.
Shifting to the 7th hole. Neuqua’s Sarah Zheng drops in the par put… second lowest round of the day for NV… a 43.
Coming back around to the first hole, North’s Gabby Hammond gets in on the par fun, finishing her round with a 41.
Wu also looking to walk away with a 4, and she gets the body into it, asking the ball to go in – she finishes with a 42.
Finally, we stay right there as Erica Lei lines up her par put to finish the day with a personal best of 39. North wins by 12 strokes.
