Plainfield North was the host site for the Regional Semifinals girls softball game with the Oswego Panthers facing off against Naperville Central. 

In the first ever IHSA girls Sectional tournament, in the sectional semifinals, Neuqua Valley and The Valley (The Waubonsie/Metea Co-op) face off. 

Highlights of the Wheaton Co-op vs. Naperville North girls lacrosse game at Metea Valley in the IHSA Sectional Semi-Final.

In a Sectional Semifinals rematch between Metea Valley and Neuqua Valley, the Mustangs ended the Wildcats season in the sectional semis last year. 

In the Sectional Semifinals, it’s a major rivalry on the pitch, Naperville North facing off against Naperville Central. 

Benet Academy facing off against Nazareth Academy at Hinsdale South in section play. 

In the first round of Regional action, Waubonsie Valley traveled down Eola Road to play rival Metea Valley.

In the third place game at the IHSA Girls Water Polo Tournament, Naperville North faces off against Loyola Academy. 

Down at Eastern Illinois, Naperville North, Naperville Central, Neuqua Valley, and Waubonsie Valley all have athletes who competed in the Girls Track State Meet. 

Benet Academy coming into the Hinsdale South sectional as the top seed as the Redwings traveled to Gately Stadium in Chicago to play John Hancock College Prep. 

Plainfield South, sitting in the 7th seed spot, facing off against Metea Valley, who holds the #2 spot.
