With the conclusion of our winter sports, we have to go back one more time to the ice for this week’s play of the week. On the biggest stage… the warrior hockey team came up big… but it was no easy feat. In double over time, the warriors, working with a power play, and Will Naffzinger shoots thepuck up to Zach Pearce who unleashes a shot… finds the whole and the warriors become state champions in the combines division… It was a long fought battle but the Waubonsie Metea co-op came up on top thanks to Zach Pearce’s double overtime power play goal which was NSWs play of the week, presented by Aurelio’s in Naperville.
