Tuition at College of DuPage is going up by a dollar a credit hour.
The change was voted through by COD board members, who approved raising tuition to $137 per credit hour for in-district students. Out of district students will pay $324 per credit hour, and out of state students, $394. The change is expected to generate about $450,000 in additional revenue for the college.
This is the second time in two years that the college has raised tuition: the new rates begin this fall.
