All six area high schools are back in action, kicking off the fall athletics with the Vern McGonagle Boys Golf Tournament at the Naperville Country Club. 

In the Sectional Final game, Anthony Sterchele gets the start for Neuqua Valley facing off against Plainfield North at Hinsdale South. 

In the 3rd place game for the IHSA Boys Lacrosse tournament, Naperville North faced off against Glenbard West. 

In the State Championship game at Hoffman Estates, Neuqua Valley, after defeating the 3 time defend state champs Glenbard West, faced off against Lincoln-Way East. 

In the State Semifinals at Hinsdale Central, Naperville North faced off against perennial power house Loyola Academy.

In the IHSA State Quarter-Finals, Lincoln-Way West, from New Lenox, face off against the Neuqua Valley Wildcats. 

Hinsdale South hosted the Sectional Semifinal between Plainfield Central, who defeated Naperville Central in Regionals, and Neuqua Valley, who topped Yorkville. 

Super Sectionals at Downers Grove South has a pair of power houses squaring off in a rubber match.

In the Super Sectionals at Hoffman Estates, South Elgin and Naperville North face off. Both teams notched double digit goals on their path to this game. 

At the Illinois Math and Science Sectional Final, #10 seed Hinsdale Central faced off against #1 seed Neuqua Valley for the Sectional Plaque.

Naperville Central, the state champions from last year, are back again at the IHSA Boys Tennis State meet, looking to repeat. 

You’ll be seeing a lot of orange tonight in the Batavia Sectional Final with #2 seed Wheaton Warrenville South facing off against #1 seed Naperville North. Last time these two teams met, North pulled away with a win on Extra Time.
