Week 2 of Football Friday finds some teams looking to avoid an 0-2 hole while others hope to build momentum before the start of the conference schedule.

Neuqua Valley and Stevenson facing off for the first time ever and both teams enter the game a perfect 1-0. 

Waubonsie Valley, celebrated their senior night and their home opener, while welcoming Libertyville into their stadium. 

Naperville North looked for their first win on the season and traveled to the 7A State Champs, Batavia, who sit 1-0 on their year.

Colin Gilespie and the Benet Academy Redwings make the two and a half hour trek to Moline to tackle the Maroons. 

After some rain delays earlier in the week, Metea Valley hosted Benet Academy at Orchard Valley Golf Course. 

After heavy rains earlier in the week, Waubonsie Valley hosted Neuqua Valley for the Warriors senior night. 

Benet Academy, in their first game of the season, traveled to Northern Illinois University to face off against St. Laurence.

Two of the top teams in class 8A meet in week one as Naperville Central welcomes the Red Devils of Hinsdale Central.
