Boys Sports Highlights

In a very cold and slightly snowy Regional Final game, 7 seed Benet Academy travels to Wheaton Academy to face the #2 Warriors. 

Despite being out of the post-season, Naperville North can still play spoiler to Neuqua Valley who sits at 5-3 and look to get back to the playoffs after missing last year. 

It’s a battle of the Redwings and the Redhawks as 6-2 Benet hosts 7-1 Marist High School in an ESCC match-up. 

The regular season of the high school football season ends this week, some of our local teams hope to improve their playoff seeding while others hope to guarantee their playoff tickets.

In the last regular game of the season, Naperville Central ends their tough schedule facing the undefeated Cary-Grove Trojans. 

The 5-3 Waubonsie Warriors travel down Eola Road to take on the 1-7 Mustangs. The Warriors look to secure a playoff run after missing it last year. 

In the regional final game at Naperville North, the Huskies host the Wildcats from Neuqua Valley. In the regular season, North beat Neuqua 1-0. 

Playoff season for boys soccer has the Benet Academy Redwings traveling to Wheaton Academy to play West Chicago in the Regional Semifinals. 

In the Plainfield North regional, Metea Valley taking on the hosts, but sitting at a higher seed: the 9 vs. the 6.

In the Naperville North Regional Semifinal game, two DVC schools face off. The Redhawks beat the Wildcats 4-0 in the regular season match-up. 

Despite only winning 3 games in the regular season, the Warriors enter their first round of regional action facing off against Plainfield Central.
