Boys Sports Highlights

Neuqua Valley, coming off a 9-20 campaign, looked to get a win under it’s belt as they faced off against West Aurora in the Hoops for Healing Tournament. 

Day One of the John Malone Tournament and the season opener for Benet Academy had the Redwings facing off against Hope Academy. 

In the opening round of the Hoops for Healing Tournament, 2 time defending tournament winners, Naperville North, host Hinsdale Central. 

Semi Finals of the Carillon Cup and it’s rivals Naperville North and Naperville Central. These 2 met just a week ago with the Redhawks coming away with a 3-2 win in a shootout.

It’s the first ever Carillon Cup and we have a great matchup right out of the gate as rivals Neuqua Valley and Waubonsie Valley square off. Waubonsie netminder Justin Howard will look to contain a tenacious Wildcat offense.

Early season conference matchup as rivals Naperville Central and Naperville North square off at All Seasons. Both teams are coming in off a win. The Redhawks are looking for their 2nd win in conference play while the Huskies look to get back to .500

In the first home dual meet of the season, Naperville Central hosts the Panthers from Plainfield North at Lisle Lanes. 

We are back in bowling season with the “Bowl Dawgs” from Naperville North hosting the Oswego East Wolves in the first home meet of the season. 

It’s a battle of the Redhawks in the 2nd round of IHSA Football Playoffs as Marist High School travels to Naperville Central. 

Libertyville and Naperville North meet up in the IHSA Boys State Soccer Final for the second year in a row after North grabbed the narrow 1-0 victory last year. 

In the second round of play offs, Waubonsie Valley, the twenty-two seed, hosts Maine South, the six seed. 

Naperville North and Neuqua Valley the only two schools competing for a team title down at Detweiler Park while Naperville Central has one lone individual runner.
