Boys Sports Highlights

A very pleasant Saturday in Chicago finds four of our area teams competing in the Whitney Young 3A cross country sectional.

A great Halloween Saturday of competition as Latin hosts the 2A boys cross country sectional just off of the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago.

Benet Academy travels to Cantigny Park for the St. Francis boys cross country regional championship. The teams split into two heats of races, with the top 5 team scores advance to the sectional meet at Lincoln Park on Saturday.

The boys cross country regional takes off at Oswego East high school. Three heats of races as the season enters its final two weeks.

Benet Academy Boys Golf travels to St. Andrews for the Wheaton North IHSA Sectional meet and leave with a fourth place finish.

The boys golf season wraps up at Blackberry Oaks as Oswego hosts one of four class 3A sectionals. Naperville Central, Neuqua Valley, Metea Valley, and Waubonsie Valley all with competing golfers.

A picture perfect day for golf as Naperbrook Golf Course hosts the Naperville Central boys golf regional. Eight teams competing but only two teams and four individuals will advance.

Benet Academy Boys Golf not only competed in the regional meet, they hosted it and placed second allowing the Redwings to move on.

The boys cross country team from Benet Academy heads to Schiller Park for a meet, with the ESCC splitting up to form two 5-team races.
