Wag N’ Paddle, an incoming business that’s set to have three indoor swimming pools for your pups and a 9,000 square-foot indoor dog park, was granted a conditional use permit to add a 2,800 square-foot outdoor dog park.
The outdoor park will be enclosed in an eight-foot fence and will only be open between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The Planning and Zoning Commission also gave a positive recommendation to Whirlyball – a sport that’s described as a cross between lacrosse, basketball, and hockey that’s played on bumper cars.
They want to build a new place in Naperville to replace their old Lombard location. The entertainment venue will bring two Whirlyball courts, 12 bowling lanes, laser tag, and a restaurant right by Top Golf, off of Route 59 and Ferry Road.
“I think residents are going to love this facility. It’s in a completely appropriate location, it’s basically the entertainment district or quickly becoming that so I very much support it,” said Bianca Morin, a planning and zoning commissioner.
Naperville City Council will have the final say on both proposals.
