North Central College was recently recognized for one of its bachelor’s degree programs.
The college’s interdisciplinary studies major is among the top 10 in the nation according to the Bachelor’s Degree Center, which compiled a list of the top 30 programs of that type.
North Central College came in at number six using a metric that took into account cost per credit hour, reputation, faculty-to-student ratio, and graduation rate.
A major in interdisciplinary studies gives students flexibility to combine learning methods and ideas from a variety of departments and programs across the college.
